What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?
People often ask “What do you want to be?” My Pop always followed up with “What DON’T you want to be?” Knowing that is half the battle.
What book, movie read/seen recently you would recommend and why?
The Road to Surrender by Evan Thomas details the final months leading to WWII’s treaty with Japan. It reveals the complexity, diplomacy, and chaotic human motivations that are reduced to a paragraph. Nothing is a simple as it seems.
