Tyson Crockett

How did you get into the industry?

I discovered film photography as an 9th grade and immediately fell in love. I shot action sports and travel photography in various forms since then. In 2017, I made a change to working as a commercial photographer full-time, learning and mastering lighting and system thinking in order to grow my passion for the art of photography. Since then I have had the opportunity to work with and for the best companies, agencies, and people. I look forward to discussing how I can bring my unique and diverse background to your projects.

What do you like to do on the weekends?

I am outside actively engaging the outdoors - camping, snowboarding, dirt biking, hiking, etc.

What is your favorite band or type of music?

I love hip hop and country.

What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?

Spent your money, where you spend your time & This is not a practice life.

What book, movie read/seen recently you would recommend and why?

The Passenger (McCarthy). Deep story and mastery on engagement and thought.

Are you a traveler or a homebody? Why?

Both, I get to travel quite a bit and love every second of it. And when I in Minneapolis I rarely go out.
