How did you get into the industry?
Studio Manager and Producer for Sheehan Photography and Shelter Studios
What inspires you?
I don't ever want to be called lazy. It is my least favorite quality in people and it would horrify me if I ever came off that way.
What is your hometown?
I grew up in Chaska, MN, spent 12 years in St. Paul and moved to Golden Valley 8 years ago.
Favorite restaurant?
Parlour for a burger, Revival for chicken, BLG for Italian, Teresa's for Tex Mex.
What do you like to do on the weekends?
When I'm not driving my kids around all over, I like to ski, read, play bingo and go to breweries!
What is your favorite band or type of music?
I love all kinds!
What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?
Control the controllables. It's a philosophy learned from my competitive swimming days growing up. Take care of your process and preparation, things you can control. How much sleep you get, your nutrition etc.. And don't focus on things you can't control. I try to bring this into my daily life so I can let go of the small things and not focus on items that I have no control over. It's a waste of time, energy and resources that can be used elsewhere.
What book, movie read/seen recently you would recommend and why?
Currently I'm reading the Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.
Are you a traveler or a homebody? Why?
I love to be on the go with a sprinkle of a nice home day here and there. My overactive need to accomplish tasks makes it hard to relax and sit at home.
