How did you get into the industry?
I have always been interested in anything to do with the arts. Music, film, photography, fashion, interiors, etc...I have studied photography and jewelry design. My photographer friends said to me -you are a stylist. I didn't know that job existed, and after I found out, I pursued that path.
What inspires you?
Beauty, art, design. Travel. Different cultures, food. Women artists
What is your hometown?
Minneapolis
Favorite restaurant?
So many! Barbette is always a good choice.
What do you like to do on the weekends?
Family, friends, day trip, stay in, go out, make something, dream big.
What is your favorite band or type of music?
I love most all music.
What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?
Be yourself.
What book, movie read/seen recently you would recommend and why?
Recently saw Poor Things and enjoyed gorgeous costuming and sets and story. Blood, Bones & Butter, by Gabrielle Hamilton, biography about her path to becoming the chef of Prune, NYC. Carmelo, by Sandra Cisneros, brought me back to Mexico city with her colorful and lush way of describing things.
Are you a traveler or a homebody? Why?
Traveler, I love to explore, learn, eat and go to art museums. Home is always nice to return to.
