How did you get into the industry?

Started as an Assistant, then did some simple product shooting, then transitioned to Digital Tech and found that the balance of technical know-how and creative problem solving skills were perfectly suited to the job.

What inspires you?

Good art, however it manifests itself.

What is your hometown?

Ft Wayne, Indiana, but I've been in Minnesota since I was 5.

Favorite restaurant?

Black Forest. The food is a bit heavy and inconsistent, but it's the best bar I know of.

What do you like to do on the weekends?

Run, ski, read, cook, and eat.

What is your favorite band or type of music?

I came of age in the 80's so Bowie, New Order, U2, and Guided by Voices.

What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?

Save 1/3 of your paychecks for taxes and retirement savings.

What book, movie read/seen recently you would recommend and why?

Most of the Wes Anderson canon because he has such an original vision that isn't cluttered by convention.

Are you a traveler or a homebody? Why?

Honestly a little of both - maybe a bit more homebody. I have a very comfortable house.
